Danvers was led to victory by Kevin Ahearn and Luca Tirella. Ahearn almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds, while Tirella went 9 of 11 on his way to 23 points. The dominant performance gave Ahearn a new career-high in points. Zachary Calabro was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 13 points and three steals.
Danvers' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Saugus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
