The Jordan Falcons posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Northern Durham with a sharp 73-51 victory. Given Jordan's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while Northern Durham is ranked 244th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jordan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryce Hill out in front who scored 18 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Wells, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Northern Durham, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Jordan will head out on the road to challenge Hillside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillside will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. Northern Durham will take on Riverside-Durham at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Riverside-Durham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
