The Countryside Cougars will take on the Blake Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Countryside has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Seminole hit Countryside with a six-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Warhawks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Countryside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Sprague, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Sprague is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Kimberly Crouch also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Blake made easy work of King on Wednesday and carried off an 18-3 win. The Yellow Jackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.
C Hobbs made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hobbs was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Blake got a massive performance out of J Feliciano, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Feliciano a new career-high. Another player making a difference was A Barcelo, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Blake and bumps their season record up to 8-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Countryside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
