Loss or not, Topsail got some senior leadership from Logan Carano and Mason French. Carano shot 54% from the field en route to 21 points and five assists, while French went 8-for-14 to rack up 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points French has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Luke Redifer, who posted five points and five boards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dixon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Wright, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 16 points. The matchup was Wright's tenth in a row with at least 16 points. Jacorian Taylor was another key player, putting up 12 points and six rebounds.
Topsail's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dixon, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
