Audriana Frasier was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most stolen bases Frost has posted since back in March. Lyric Levaine was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Charleston Math & Science always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .760. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, St. John's got the win against Baptist Hill on Tuesday by a conclusive 19-1. The victory continues a trend for the Islanders in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won six in a row.
Like Charleston Math & Science, St. John's also got a great game from a two-way player: Kennedy Moore. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Moore was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Bethani Martinez was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Lanaysia Ford also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Charleston Math & Science has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .575. However, it's not like St. John's struggles in that department as they've averaged .688. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Charleston Math & Science got the 'W' in their previous matchup on April 2nd against St. John's by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Riptide since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
