Basketball Recap: Booker Piles Up the Points Against Felt

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Booker's strategy against Felt on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Booker Kiowas blew the Felt Bulldogs out of the water with a 40-12 final score. The Kiowas pushed the score to 32-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had little chance of recovering from.

Booker was led to victory by Kyleigh Harrison and Eleanor Bentley. Harrison posted eight points along with five boards and five steals, while Bentley had nine points and eight rebounds. What's more, Bentley also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in November of 2023. Diana Banuelos was another key player, putting up six points.

The victory (which was Booker's third in a row) raised their record to 5-11. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points per game. As for Felt, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker will welcome Follett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Booker is facing Follett at the right time seeing as Follett is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Felt, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boise City at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
