The High Tech SD Storm will square off against the Kearny Komets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Saturday, High Tech SD earned a 10-7 victory over Crawford. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

Ruby Parkin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Lucia Williams was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Xima Martinez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
High Tech SD was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kearny, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hoover on Thursday as they made off with a 19-11 win.
Makiyah Manning spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and nine unearned) runs on five hits.
On the hitting side, Kearny got a massive performance out of Victoria Ortega, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Ortega a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lilly Spollen, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.
Kearny's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for High Tech SD, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. High Tech SD has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .497. However, it's not like Kearny struggles in that department as they've averaged .508. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
