It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Sacramento Adventist Capitals ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They managed a 53-48 victory over Golden Sierra. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sacramento Adventist.
Sacramento Adventist's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from German Kudashov, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Taylor, who scored 13 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Loss or not, Golden Sierra got some senior leadership from Patrick Bingham who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 7 blocks and Devin Nibbelink who scored 14 points along with 9 steals. Another player making a difference was Ryder Spies, who scored 12 points.
The victory got Sacramento Adventist back to even at 2-2. As for Golden Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Sacramento Adventist will head out on the road to face off against Mira Loma at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Golden Sierra, they will take on Colfax at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Colfax presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Golden Sierra in California (Colfax is ranked 165th, while Golden Sierra is ranked 1177th).
