The Creekside Seminoles stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 69-31 victory over Banneker. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-13.
Creekside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Skye Cleveland out in front who scored 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Cleveland hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games. Braylin Brown was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Creekside's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Banneker, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekside will take on Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chapel Hill is coming into the match with four straight victories at home, meaning Creekside will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Banneker, they will head out on the road to face off against Tri-Cities at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tri-Cities presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Banneker in Georgia (Tri-Cities is ranked 122nd, while Banneker is ranked 398th).
