After two games on the road, Saint Viator is heading back home. They will take on The Wheaton Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Saint Viator got themselves on the board against Richmond-Burton, but Richmond-Burton never followed suit. They took down the Rockets 14-0.
Meanwhile, Wheaton Academy stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 68-0 win over Phoenix Military at home. Winning may never get old, but Wheaton Academy sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Brett Kasper was his usual excellent self, rushing for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Kasper was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards. Greyson Kelly was another key contributor, rushing for 29 yards and two touchdowns.
Saint Viator's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points per game. As for Wheaton Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
