Amanda Wiley continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Wiley is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Briyanna Pisano, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tonopah Valley, who are still winless after their 12th game. They were outmatched by Scottsdale Preparatory Academy at home and fell 61-14. While losing is never fun, Tonopah Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Scottsdale Preparatory Academy is ranked 140th).
Yuma Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Tonopah Valley, they bumped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
