It was a good run, but the Brentwood Bruins unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell to Page 45-39. Brentwood was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, Brentwood still got an impressive performance from Olivia Castagna, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Page got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avery Payne out in front who scored 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Lily Espelet, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Brentwood's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-3. As for Page, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Brentwood and the Knights will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Nolensville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday. As for Page, they and the Raptors will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Ravenwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Patriots are ranked 57th).
