After flying high against the S & S Consolidated Rams last Friday, The Valley View Eagles came back down to earth. Valley View was beaten by City View 73-19 on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Valley View in their matchups with City View: they've now lost four in a row.
Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for City View, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Valley View will head out on the road to face off against Callisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for City View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holliday at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Holliday is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
