Pleasanton moved up to 468 from 499 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region IV District 28. A 47-0 win over Carrizo Springs helped the Eagles improve their standing.
Pleasanton extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Wildcats, 47-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Poteet's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Aggies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sean Rodriguez has thrown for 112 yards and one touchdown this season, while Ronald Sanchez has four catches for 56 yards. Kris Guzman leads the league in rushing with 232 yards.
The Eagles took down Carrizo Springs 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
