Henry Vega posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Boone is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-6 otherwise.
