They were outmatched by Glennallen on the road and fell 59-13. Effie Kokrine Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-3.
Walter Northway dropped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Effie Kokrine Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Walter Northway was able to grind out a solid win over the Warriors in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, winning 51-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walter Northway since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
