The Morgan Township Cherokees will be home for the holidays to greet the Hebron Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morgan Township has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
Last Tuesday, it was close, but Morgan Township sidestepped North Judson-San Pierre for a 56-54 victory.
Morgan Township's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keagen Holder led the charge by scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Holder's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Wheeler, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, Hebron scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Tri-Township on the road to the tune of 76-30. That looming 76-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hebron yet this season.
Morgan Township's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hebron, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
