Wheeling Park's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indian Creek Redskins. The Patriots were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Redskins, so the Patriots were just returning the favor.

While Wheeling Park won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21.

Wheeling Park was led to victory by Rowan Gillespie and Marissa Hunley. Gillespie had eight digs and two aces, while Hunley had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hunley has posted over her last eight matches.

With the victory, Wheeling Park broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-13-1. As for Indian Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
