The Billingsley Bears's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Verbena with a sharp 55-33 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Billingsley also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Billingsley found their leader in underclassman Kyle Boice, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Danny Boice, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Billingsley's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for Verbena, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
