The St. Margaret's Scotties will square off against the New Covenant Gryphons at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Margaret's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season.

St. Margaret's is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hampton Christian Academy 82-22. The Scotties have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 27 points or more this season.

St. Margaret's had a senior duo take command as Tara Vulovic posted 12 points and Paula Carrillo had 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jade Wright, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for New Covenant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down Greenbrier Christian Academy 39-25 on Wednesday.

New Covenant had a senior duo take command as Jocelyn Walker earned 15 points and three steals and Ellie Jacobs put up nine points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. What's more, Jacobs also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Melia Leitner was another key player, putting up five points and five boards.

New Covenant's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for St. Margaret's, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: St. Margaret's hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 55.8 points per game. It's a different story for New Covenant, though, as they've been averaging only 32.3 points. The only thing between St. Margaret's and another offensive beatdown is New Covenant.
