After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Greeneview, Greenon was happy to have turned things around  on Friday.  In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Krislyn Layne, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Haley Ivon, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 On Triad's side,  Riley Haser made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jalynn Smith, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Greenon's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Triad, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with that  loss, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Greenon will  challenge Fairbanks at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. Greenon knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Fairbanks likes a good challenge. As for Triad, they will be playing at home against Catholic Central at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Triad is facing Catholic Central at the right time seeing as Catholic Central is stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak.
