Having just played yesterday, the Interlachen Rams will get right back to it and host the Bell Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, Interlachen came up short against Oak Hall and fell 49-42.
Despite the loss, Interlachen saw an underclassman step up: Kemontae Nixon scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Nixon has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Charles Bean, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Bell's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Saint Francis Catholic 62-28. Bell has not had much luck with Saint Francis Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Interlachen's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Bell, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Interlachen against Bell when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 68-22 win. With Interlachen ahead 49-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
