Northwest has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Ross Rams at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Northwest's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
Even though Mt. Healthy scored an imposing 66 points on Friday, Northwest still came out on top. Northwest managed a 70-66 win over Mt. Healthy.
Meanwhile, Ross pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Aiken 61-57. Ross just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Northwest has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Ross, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Northwest strolled past Ross in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 54-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northwest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
