Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bennett Canale, who scored ten points along with three steals. Canale has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Antonio Castro was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Houma Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy will head out on the road to square off against Jefferson RISE Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Houma Christian, they will be playing at home against Thomas Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
