The St. Paul Lutheran Giants's game on Wednesday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 50-41 to Valley. Despite the loss, St. Paul Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Mia Sherrill, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Sherrill hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 18 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Berkery, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Kenley Missey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Valley, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Missey hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Ryleigh Maxwell was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Paul Lutheran and the Fightin' Tigers will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Missouri (Clearwater is ranked 435th, while the Giants are ranked 449th). As for Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors on Saturday.
