Blake Richmeier, who rushed for four touchdowns. Thanks to solid play, the junior now has five touchdowns for the year.
After taking the lead on a kick return touchdown by
Heath Tucker in the second quarter, the Longhorns led 21-8 at the half.
Holcomb expanded its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. HHS scored three times in the third, including once on a Tucker touchdown pass to
Calen Rupp.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 34-14 win for the Longhorns.
The defeat comes as a step back for Cimarron, who notched a 54-6 victory over Southwestern Heights in its previous outing. With the win Holcomb extended its winning streak to three games.
