L.C. Bird is 6-1 against Midlothian since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The L.C. Bird Skyhawks will head out on the road to face off against the Midlothian Trojans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but L.C. Bird had to settle for a 16-13 loss against Cosby.
The losing side was boosted by La'Tavion Lowe, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Midlothian ended up a good deal behind Huguenot on Friday and lost 30-15.
Although Midlothian took the loss, they still got scores from Jack Lipsteuer and Knox Berry.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 5-4.
L.C. Bird came up short against Midlothian in their previous meeting back in September of 2022, falling 15-7. Can L.C. Bird avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
