Chris Ciarniello Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
 Starting off the list is North Kingstown's  Chris Ciarniello, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday  Ciarniello made eight total tackles, good enough to  also set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 For the year,  Ciarniello  has averaged 10.2 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive:  after five games last season,  he was only averaging 12.8  receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 46.2  receiving yards.

Jeremy Seidi and Co. Win Third in a Row
  Jeremy Seidi's big game helped extend Bishop Hendricken's winning streak to three on Friday. Seidi did his part (and then some), picking up  a  sack and making five total tackles for the 'W'. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards.
 On the season,  Seidi  has averaged 4.1 total tackles per game  and for the season has 4 sacks. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 1.43  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 61.29  rushing yards.

Cornell Came Up Big in Cranston West's  28-21  Loss
 Cranston West had to settle for second  on Friday, but  Kelan Cornell sure wasn't going down easily. Cornell was unstoppable, throwing for 190 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown.
 This year,  Cornell  has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 151.9 passing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 96.29  passing yards per game.

Armand Northup-Reed Makes It Two for St. Raphael Academy
 The second St. Raphael Academy player making an appearance here is  Armand Northup-Reed, and for good reason. He picked up 68 receiving yards.
 On the year,  Northup-Reed  has averaged 71 receiving yards per game.
