Adding to the longest winning streak in NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) this week, Southampton Academy beat Arendell Parrott Academy 46-6. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
Southampton Academy took down the Patriots 46-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Arendell Parrott Academy's Jack Huddle and Caleb Quinn led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Huddle has thrown for 816 yards this season, while Quinn has 44 catches for 724 yards. Hobgood Academy's Greg "GJ" Mullins leads the league in rushing yards with 2,591.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Rocky Mount Academy and Dale Marks' team. The Eagles enters the contest ranked second in the state, while the Raiders ranks first.
Jawan Marshall has rushed for 939 yards on 79 carries so far this year.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Rocky Mount Academy takes on Southampton Academy. B.W Holt's team has allowed 184 points this season, while the Raiders have given up 135. The Eagles allowed 46 points last week as they topped St. David's.
