Clarkstown South had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Ketcham Storm 8-2 on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ketcham's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Clarkstown South will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Arlington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ketcham, they will head out to challenge Suffern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
