California - Division I (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Levi Cavalli and Co. Win 21st in a Row
Hayfork picked up their 21st consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Levi Cavalli. Nobody could stop Cavalli as he rushed for 175 yards and five touchdowns on only six carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 116 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Chester, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cavalli. Cavalli rushed for 232 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Volcanoes duked it out back in September.

Noah Made His Presence Known in Burney's 34-16 Victory
Burney found a leader in Kyle Noah as the team took down Plumas Charter on Friday. Noah was unstoppable, rushing for 107 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 84 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Plumas Charter had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Noah it was a similar story. Noah rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes the last time he and the Warriors duked it out back in September.

Anthony Loza Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Tulelake got the W thanks in part to Anthony Loza playing the best football he has all season. Loza rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Loza might have his next game, a home matchup with Chester, circled on his calendar. Loza picked up 144 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Volcanoes duked it out back in October of 2023.

Xavier Silva Makes It Two for Tulelake
Keeping Loza company is Xavier Silva, a fellow Tulelake player. He rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Silva and Tulelake will take on Chester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Honkers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Volcanoes, probably because Silva had a solid game then too: he threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Garcia Posts Huge Game in 52-0 Win
Another Tulelake player making an appearance on this list is Danny Garcia. He rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Garcia's next matchup is against Chester on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort. The last time Garcia took on the Volcanoes, he rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
