Nicholas Fantl turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Saturday. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Pacific Grove back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Fantl is becoming a predictor of St. Francis's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 4-2 (and 9-10 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Fantl and St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against Palma at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fantl had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in April 4-2. If he drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
