Grace Davis has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Mountain House Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Grace Davis will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 962nd, while Mountain House is ranked 183rd).
Last Friday, Grace Davis came up short against Johansen and fell 54-42.
Meanwhile, Mountain House waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 62-45 win over Ceres.
Coldin Parker and Jordan Assefa were among the main playmakers for Mountain House as the former scored 12 points and the latter scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Clay, who scored eight points.
Grace Davis has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Mountain House, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Grace Davis ended up a good deal behind Mountain House in their previous matchup on January 3rd, losing 63-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mountain House's Gabriel Williams, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds.
