After soaring to 65 points the game before, the Berean Christian Kingsmen were a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were beaten by Rock County Christian 51-20. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Gabriel Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rock County Christian, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Thompson set a new season high mark in assists with five. Another player making a difference was Gideon Ukwuorji, who scored 12 points.
Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Rock County Christian, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berean Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Moline Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Rock County Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Maranatha Baptist at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
