The Wolverine Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Boyne Falls Loggers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Wednesday, Wolverine lost to Ellsworth at home by a decisive 68-52 margin. Wolverine was down 54-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Boyne Falls blew St. Michael Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on FridaySt. Michael Academy got their revenge. Boyne Falls fell just short of St. Michael Academy by a score of 43-40.
Wolverine's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Boyne Falls, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Wolverine strolled past Boyne Falls when the teams last played back in January by a score of 47-31. Will Wolverine repeat their success, or does Boyne Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
