Heart of the Plains (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week

Connor Fowler Tops All Others This Week
 Starting off the list is Fairfield's  Connor Fowler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fowler rushed for 97 yards, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown on only five passes.
 For the year,  Fowler  has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 48 passing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had two  passing touchdowns.

Piercen Huff Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Central Christian was led to victory by  Piercen Huff, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Huff picked up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown. The  performance  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in September of 2023.
 The  win (which was Central Christian's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Huff and Central Christian will host Norwich  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Big Game from Reed As Central Christian Won 46-0
 Central Christian picked up their sixth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Nathan Reed. Pretty Prairie had no answer to  Reed  as he threw for 133 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.
 This season,  Reed  has thrown 21 touchdowns (and  and only 3 picks) while averaging 156.9 passing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 73.71  passing yards per game.

Brodie Snodgrass Makes It Two for Fairfield
 The second Fairfield player making an appearance here is  Brodie Snodgrass, and for good reason. He forced a fumble and made five total tackles. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  forcing a fumble and making five total tackles.
 This season,  Snodgrass  has averaged 2.9 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive:  after seven games last season,  he had two  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.

Central Christian Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to  Cael Kooiman
  Cael Kooiman's big game helped extend Central Christian's winning streak to six on Friday. Kooiman turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 13 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 On the season,  Kooiman  has averaged 8.9 total tackles per game  and for the season has 2  interceptions.
