Central barely beat Wildwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Central never let Wildwood on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-15.

Nathalia Charles paced Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Charles got some help from Lacie Bigger and her 16 assists.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Wildwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will host Nature Coast Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wildwood, they will be playing at home against South Sumter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
