STRINGER, Miss. -
Stringer (Miss.) put up seven points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 24-0 victory over
Hinds County Agricultural (Utica, Miss.).
After taking the lead on a
Tevin Moore touchdown run in the second quarter, the Red Devils were up 10-0 at the half.
Stringer grew its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. SHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Moore.
The Red Devils also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 35-16.
The loss was the third in a row for the Bulldogs. With the win Stringer extended its winning streak to four games.
In a 1A Region 4 game next week Stringer (4-0) takes on Cathedral, and Hinds County Agricultural (2-3) will go up against Salem also in a 1A Region 4 game.
