Malvern Prep barely beat Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Friars were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Friars/Pandas on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Friars, who have now won 19 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Malvern Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.
