The Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Bergen Tech Knights at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Camden County Vo-Tech's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
On Thursday, Camden County Vo-Tech made easy work of Atlantic City and carried off an 11-3 win. Considering the Warriors have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Tyler Doyle made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Brayden Falcone was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacob Shaw, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Camden County Vo-Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Bergen Tech won against Fair Lawn on Tuesday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Knights beat River Dell by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Golden Hawks: they've now won four in a row.
Bergen Tech also got a great performance from Matt Tucci as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.
On the hitting side, Bergen Tech's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Harssh Ramayanam Venkkat, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Camden County Vo-Tech is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bergen Tech, their record now sits at 9-12.
Bergen Tech's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Camden County Vo-Tech hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. It's a different story for Bergen Tech, though, as they've only averaged .217. Will they be able to contain Camden County Vo-Tech's hitters?
