There's no place like home for the Astoria/VIT Rebels, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Greenview 66-29 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Astoria/VIT, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ben Sherrod continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Astoria/VIT's points. Trynton Miller was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Astoria/VIT is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Greenview, they bumped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
