North is 0-4 against Dalton since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The North Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Dalton Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. North is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
North lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Saturday was a bit more commanding. They had to suffer through a rough 89-29 loss at the hands of Garfield Community Learning Center. While losing is never fun, North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 819th, while Garfield Community Learning Center is ranked 338th).
Meanwhile, Dalton unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 51-35 fall against Norwayne. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dalton has scored all season.
North dropped their record down to 0-18 with that defeat, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Dalton, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
North came up short against Dalton in their previous matchup back in February of 2019, falling 46-41. Can North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
