The Orange Park Raiders will challenge the Baldwin Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Orange Park: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Baldwin has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
Orange Park is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Westside an 18-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Jayce Jones made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Orange Park is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-5 otherwise. Jones was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Bryar Coursey was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Devon Rail, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Orange Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Baldwin unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 15-9 to Bolles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered since April 24, 2024.
Turner Farah led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Mason Williams was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
Orange Park's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Baldwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Orange Park's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. Orange Park has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Baldwin, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Orange Park continue to outrun the ball?
Orange Park beat Baldwin 6-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Orange Park repeat their success, or does Baldwin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
