After a string of three wins, the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 67-45 defeat at the hands of Episcopal. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nina Velandria, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Saleema Tinner, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Saint John Paul the Great Catholic now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Episcopal, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
