Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Alissa Azcuy, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and six steals, and Veronica Larrea, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larrea has scored all season. Sela Travieso was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Ransom Everglades entered their tilt with David Posnack Jewish Day with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Ransom Everglades simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat David Posnack Jewish Day 60-20 on the road.
Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Ransom Everglades, their victory bumped their record up to 16-9.
