On Thursday, First Presbyterian Day was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Robert Toombs Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points First Presbyterian Day has scored all season.
First Presbyterian Day lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Reynolds Handberry, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Waters, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
First Presbyterian Day now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
First Presbyterian Day and Eagle's Landing Christian Academy will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 810 points over their last 12 matchups. Robert Toombs Christian Academy and Piedmont Academy will face off at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Piedmont Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
