The Lynn Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. Their tough 75-55 defeat to Marion County might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lynn in their matchups with Marion County: they've now lost nine in a row.
Joe Aldridge continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Marion County, scoring 34 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. The contest was Aldridge's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Philip Wilson, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Lynn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Marion County, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Brilliant the next time they take the court. Marion County will host Brilliant at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Lynn will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
