Softball Recap: Rancocas Valley Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Rancocas Valley never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Eastern Vikings 13-0. Considering the Red Devils have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Kaitlyn Dick, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Ava Sweet was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Rancocas Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Eastern, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rancocas Valley will welcome Cherry Hill West at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastern, they will square off against Bishop Eustace Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
