The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder showed his great versatility on Friday during a 65-0 rout of Fort Cherry (McDonald, Pa.) by scoring four touchdowns, each in a different way. He scored on a 57-yard pass reception, 47-yard interception return, 41-yard run and 40-yard fumble return. He also had three runs of over 40 yards nullified by penalties, according to the Tribune-Review.
Fort Cherry coach Jim Shiel told the newspaper that Boyd "is just amazing. And with him, it's not just the speed. He has the ability to find open space the way other people just can't. He's in a league of his own."
The Bears easily raised their national-high winning streak to 52 games, even though Fort Cherry chose not to snap the ball on each down until just one second remained on the play clock.

Waunakee (Wis.) made certain history would not repeat itself by blanking Reedsburg (Wis.) 34-0 for its 42nd consecutive victory. Reedsburg was the last team to beat the Warriors, 15-10 in 2009.

Webb City (Mo.) shut out Willard (Mo.) 45-0 to run its winning streaks to 36 games overall and 87 during the regular season.

Maryville (Tenn.) won the battle of unbeatens 21-3 over Bearden (Knoxville, Tenn.) as its winning streak reached 35 games.

Ithaca (Mich.) won its 34th straight game 33-21 over previously undefeated Carrollton (Mich.) as
Travis Smith passed for 200 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 71 yards on 14 carries.

Regina (Iowa City, Iowa) also won its 34th game in a row by defeating Alburnett (Iowa) 54-20. Mark Ward set the pace by completing 16 of 22 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns.

Boylan (Rockford, Ill.), which routed Jefferson (Rockford, Ill.) 51-6; and
West De Pere (De Pere, Wis.), which shut out New London (Wis.) 65-0.
