The Pima Roughriders will venture away from home to challenge the Snowflake Lobos at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Pima's victory against St. Johns wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Roughriders won by a run and slipped past the Redskins 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughriders.

The team relied heavily on Aiden Alder, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Pima: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-8-1 otherwise.
Snowflake let Blue Ridge stack six runs on them in the seventh inning on Friday but luckily Snowflake prevailed anyway. The Lobos walked away with a 10-6 win over the Yellow Jackets. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Skip Bawden made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 15 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base.
In other batting news, Kyler Matthews and Aaden Coor did most of the damage at the plate: Matthews went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Coor went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Coor has posted since back in April of 2024. Xavier Reidhead was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Snowflake hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.
The win got Pima back to even at 8-8-1. As for Snowflake, their record is now 14-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pima has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Snowflake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
